I remember colors... the colors of the world around me.  I remember crayons in my hand as a child.


The first time I knew I wanted to be an artist, I was ten years old.  It was the first day of fifth grade art class, and the teacher was late.  We all sat there: wondering, waiting... and in she walked.  Old, wrinkly, disheveled hair and paint splattered clothes.  I listened carefully as she talked about color, shadow and composition.  I didn't know quite what it was, but something about my teacher called to me.  I wanted to live in her world.  Whatever that world may be...

I have always needed to express myself, to create, in one way or another.  I enjoy creating custom works of art.  I think it's a unique partnership that I can bring my touch to someone else's ideas or memories.  I most love, however, when a painting will pop into my mind, out of nowhere, demanding to be brought to life.


I met my best friend, Patrick, on our first day of high school, August of 1992.  We were married August of 1999.  Since then, we’ve lived happily ever after together, with our little girl, Zoe.  I’d like to thank everyone in my life for their love and support... and sometimes, inspiration.
